Remington 742 Serial Numbers Date
Recently, in my area, where the seller is voluntarily selling and the buyer is voluntarily buying. Rifles with long actions bring around $500 in excellent condition. Short actions bring slightly less (less popular). Carbines bring slightly more. Older rifles and carbines bring slightly m ore. The only time we can arrive at a true value is when the buyer and the seller agree on a price!
SO, if you are a seller, or want to be a buyer, send me a message, we might be able to determine a value. Iflya310@yahoo.com Steve. You are referring to the chamber brush that was included with 742 rifles when purchased new. The Remington Model 742 is no longer available and was replaced with the Model 7400, Model 4 and the Model 74. These rifles have the same outward configuration as the Model 742, with slight internal changes to the bolt locking lugs.
What year is a remington woodsmaster model 742 serial #B6938941 made in and about how much is it worth? Have serial numbers for all except 2. I need to know the value of a Remington Woodsmaster Model 742. I need to know the value of a Remington Woodsmaster Model 742 in.308 cal. It also has a tasco scope, Both are in.
You may be able to get a chamber brush directly from Remington for the Model 742. If they no longer offer that Model specific (742) brush, those for the 7400, 4 and 74 will work.
The Model 7400, etc. Has recently been replaced by the Model 750 which is very similar to all the above semi-auto rifles with an upgrade involving the gas-system. You need to specify which caliber you have. Cost will be around $10.00 plus shipping.
Answer Sorry, friend, we need more information. Remington has made 3 basic variations of pump 22's. The Model 12A,B,C,CS and NRA Target, Model 121, and the current Model 572.
Plants vs zombies zen garden. There is a manufacture date code, in symbols, usually on the LH side of the barrel just forward of the receiver. For some Re mingtons this will indicate the month and year of production, ie; XKP = Dec 1941, EX = Oct 1929, B-L-A-C-K-P-O-W-D-E-R-X stand for the month of manufacture, my reference gives letter codes for years from 1921 through 1972. Get me the code and we might be able to pin a month and year down in the 21 to 72 range or got to the Remington Collector's site and they may be able to help you.
This is most likely a Model 12 made in early 1915, may not say model 12 on it and doesn't not have date code. I'm guessing if he didn't say model it's because it's not stamped on the side;).
